ABOUT
Timothy Pidoux (on the right) had over 30 years’ military experience in the RAF and started court mounting medals in 2010. He provided this invaluable service for both serving and retired armed forces personnel from all the of the Armed Services as well as Police Officers, Firemen and Paramedics.
When he started, all the money that Tim generated went to charities supporting the British military. In August 2012, £5,000 was donated to one the Armed Forces leading charities for helping injured service men and women, Help for Heroes.
In May 2013, TFPCourtmounting donated £5,000 to RAFA (The Royal Air Force Association). In November 2013, TPFCourtmounting donated £5,000 to Blind Veterans UK. Now retired after 32 years’ Service, he has turned what started as a hobby, into a business.
Many of the medals that he has mounted and memorabilia frames he has built, have been for personnel stationed at RAF Wittering, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, but he has mounted medals for personnel serving at other military units from RAF Leuchars in Scotland to RAF Stafford in the West midlands as well as many retired personnel from around the United Kingdom, Germany, The Netherlands, Cyprus, Australia and the USA.
In 2013, Tim started a bespoke box frame and display case service for Medals and Memorabilia for serving, retired or soon to be retiring military, Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service, Prison Service and RNLI personnel. Other available services are bespoke picture framing.
Tim has mounted framed prints, photographs, cross stitch, stretcher frames for canvas prints, jigsaw puzzles, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red Poppies and posters. Having your medals box framed is but one use for that type of frame, the list is almost endless.
